  I went to the Port Charlotte store this evening to pick up an online order. First I drove by 3 different doors because the place looked closed and deserted. No one in sight, doors blacked out so much and lights so dim I was sure it was closed. I got out in the rain and the door opened so I parked. I went in where I usually do for pick ups. Nobody insight and everything had been moved. I found the right register, now just needed an employee. I walked 3/4 of the store and back again. I finally called out "HELLO", THREE TIMES! Finally I saw 2 women in another dept. across the way and called out to them. One finally came over and walked me back to where I started. She continued on over to jewelry or something and she came back with Kim, a floor supervisor. She was very nice and apologized for what I went through trying to find help. It is absolutely ridicules that I saw a total of 4 sales people in this entire store and had to run 3 of them down. This not good customer service! I thought Macy's was a " better" store. It looks nice, clean but for service, on par w/ Walmart. Anyone could have walked out w/ just about anything they wanted as well. This was a very disconcerting experience. No wonder Macy's is struggling. They need to put customer service back where it belongs. Also, if they aren't going to have sales people where you can find them then at least put out bells or buzzers at the registers, something so we don't have to yell throughout the store. Even Walmart has that in their pick up area.
